About me.

Hi! It's Jenessa Wait here. I'm excited for you to get to know a little about who I am and why I am passionate for what I do. I was born in Winnipeg, Canada and have recently made Austin, Texas my home. The massive shift in weather has made me miss the cold and snow of Canada, but I'm embracing all that Texas has to offer! I have been married to my husband Ben for 3 years, who is my constant encourager, champion and helper. When I'm not creating things I'm usually exploring the city with Ben, walking with the pup or finding a good Netflix series to start on! We love tasting new foods, connecting with people and creating masterpieces together. I love to design, create, and tap into my artistic side while bringing truth through inspiration into homes.

My Creative Journey.

Creativity is a passion of mine and because words of affirmation are my love language, it ties into my journey. I have a heart to bring encouragement back into the world through everyday home decor. Because of this, hand lettering drew me in from the moment I saw it. It has a way to display words and truth in a beautiful and inspiring way. It has been 3 years since I picked up a ball point pen, paper and a few pins from Pinterest, and started to practice. I can't tell you that I learned over night, because that was far from my experience. The process has been a struggle, and frustrating at times, BUT there is beauty in the process. I have learned to slow down, give myself grace, and have been able to not only write the words, but believe in them. I can honestly say that it is worth it. As my journey progressed into  prints and lettering for my own home decor, friends and family encouraged me to share my passion with others.  Through trial and error over the past year, I slowly began to build a business from what I love which encompasses the hope, goodness and love of Jesus. I encourage you, no matter your journey, embrace the process. Allow your creativity to pour out, be passionate for what you do, and fearlessly go after what you love. It is worth it. You are worth it.
